Murdoch the CEO of News Corp. and its many subsidiaries was speaking at the Federal Trade Commission earlier in the week. There he used the opportunity to outline a three-part mandate for newspapers wishing to survive the turmoil of change. His advice: “deliver content to consumers via every possible medium, digital and physical; get them used to the idea that they’ll have to pay; and continue agitating for media deregulation.”
