Tires screeching to a halt. A whining cat. The crack of a prepubescent voice. Oh, the lovely joys of karaoke always keep me coming back for more. But let’s be real here. Who doesn’t enjoy letting it all hang out, belting out the wrong words on stage, and making a complete and utter fool out of ourselves without the scare of attracting an STD from a stranger? So, despite my immense singing disability, I decided to down a few and find my favorite themed karaoke bars in town - let’s hope my rusty pipes don’t burst any ear drums.

5. BUST OUT YOUR BAGPIPE AT SONNY McLEAN’S

If anyone knows how to make their voice heard, it’s the Irish - bagpipe and kilts in tow. Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays call for a massive glass of Guinness (extra stout for those true blooded Celtics), a Red Sox game, and a microphone.
